Our skin is our largest organ, performing several functions, including protecting us from invasion by foreign substances and serving as the transfer point for the release of toxins from our bodies. Facials are deep skin treatments that cleanse, rehydrate and rejuvenate the skin, apart from minimizing skin blemishes, acne, dry skin and, of course, wrinkles. Facials vary depending on your skin type, the kind of treatment you've chosen, the products used and the person's age. However, it is advisable to start having facials in your late 20's.

Anti-Aging Anti-Oxidant/ Algae Facial (1 hour) $95
This nourishing facial is full of anti-oxidants and is designed to remineralize the skin while protecting it from the damaging effects of the environment. The anti-aging algae mask use s a blend of seaweeds harvested from the North Coast of Brittany in France rich in trace elements, marine proteins, vitamins and minerals that reduce dark circles, fine lines, and dehydration while leaving the skin smooth and supple. Moor Mud Facial (1 hour) $110
With its antibiotic properties and detoxifying effects, the Moor Mud facial is a very effective treatment for oily and acneic skin conditions. The mud is comprised of herbs and medicinal plants that have been broken down and preserved for thousands of years that will help keep your skin clean and clear of excess oil and bacteria. How does it work?
We have created special Referral Reward Cards that you may distribute to anyone you know looking for a facial treatment. They include our contact information and are essentially a "coupon card" for $10 off with a slot for your name. Simply let your friends, family and colleagues know how much you enjoyed your treatment(s) at Hand On Healthcare Massage Therapy by presenting them with one of our referral cards with your name on it. When they come in to get their first treatment, that is considered a "qualified referral" and they will receive a $10 discount and you get a $10 credit placed on your Rewards Account.

How can I redeem my credits?
You may let your credits build up until you have enough to get 50% off the facial treatment you desire, or you may use the credit(s) at your next appointment as a discount. In addition, you can transfer the credits to someone else to use on a facial, or, you may redeem them for facial gift certificates! At this time, facials are only available at our Dix Hills location, accept for some specials and spa parties. In the future, we may offer skin care in our Commack location*The only way referral credits may NOT be used is in combination with any other discount we offer such as monthly specials, coupons or giveaways. Referral credits can only be applied up to 50% off of your facial or skin treatment of choice.
How do I get referral cards?
Give us a call or send an email with your mailing address, and we will drop some in the mail to you, or just pick some up at either Hands On office. You may also pick them up at your next appointment, or if you are computer-savvy, right click on the image above and print it out. Keep them on hand so that if anyone you meet is looking to get a great massage or spa treatment, you can hand them a card with your name written on it. They save $10 and you get a $10 credit!
How will I know if the people I referred have come for an appointment?
When we receive a referral card with your name on it or a referral in your name, we'll send you an email or give you a call to let you know. A credit will be placed on your account in your file. You can also contact us at any time to inquire about your credit balance.
